I decided, after many years working in the commercial world, to make a change and do something I really wanted to do. This led me to the Essex Institute of Clinical Hypnosis (EICH) where I trained to become a clinical hypnotherapist and hypnoanalyst under the tutelage of the internationally renowned author and lecturer of advanced hypnotherapy, Terence Watts. I then continued my studies in America to broaden my knowledge and skills, with particular interest in the medical applications of hypnosis.
After graduating I became a member of the Association of Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy (APHP) and the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH), the largest hypnosis organisation in the world. Membership to both these professional bodies demands a high degree of proven training. Members must adhere to a strict code of practice and ethics, and agree to discharge each and every client from treatment at the earliest possible moment, consistent with that client's good care, and have the utmost respect for the client' s confidentiality at all times. Membership also commits me to ongoing training (CPD) to ensure that my knowledge and skills are continually updated by attending regular seminars and workshops.
As a professional clinical hypnotherapist and hypnoanalyst, I am fully insured for Public Liability and Professional Indemnity.
I am a client centred Clinical Hypnotherapist and Healer and believe very strongly that everyone is an individual and should have their therapy tailored to suit their specific needs.
I like to work in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere so my clients can feel comfortable and are confident in the knowledge that I offer a professional and confidential service.
I enjoy working with a wide range of emotional and psychological mind/body related problems, so if you want to ask me any questions about problems you may be having please do not hesitate to phone or e-mail.
